is a critical requirement for computer systems everywhere, irrespective of the
number of computers involved; it may be just one system or it may be an
enterprise suite with thousands of systems. Today, it has become an essential
service that every user of computer systems need and should be easily
accessible to them. Unfortunately, tech support has been categorized as a high
risk industry by the payment gateway service providers due to the illegal
actions of some scammers. As a result a payment gateway for tech support companies is very difficult to find.
Denying
services to an entire industry doesn’t help
The problem
with this situation is that it allows the scammers more options to dupe
customers who are totally dependent on their computer systems to do their
respective jobs. If tech support services are not legally available, the scammers
will find it easier to approach the desperate customers and take more money out
of them. As a result, it is the customers who will continue to suffer losses
and end up totally at the mercy of these scam companies.

the biggest loser is the customer. It needs to be appreciated that there are
scammers in all industries although the degree may vary. The tech support
industry has had more than its share of scammers and for that some payment
gateways are responsible as they didn’t ensure compliance of terms and
conditions.

compliance of operational guidelines
It is not
easy to ensure compliance of the terms and conditions along with the
operational guidelines of a paymentgateway for international transaction. Not many payment gateways in
operation actually go as far as to regulate the activities of each and every
merchant using their platform. Moreover, it requires substantial resources and
investments are required to procure tools and technologies to enforce strict
compliance of operational guidelines.
